Summer Solstice

Summer is almost here! And, while this time of year is often spent vacationing and sipping fruity drinks on the deck, summer is actually the perfect time to take stock and refocus on what you want out of life.  Each year on June 21 in the Northern Hemisphere and December 21 in the Southern Hemisphere, the sun reaches the highest point in the sky. It is the first day of summer and a major celestial event—the Summer Solstice. As the lightest and longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice beckons us to celebrate life.  Today I was walking around our neighborhood in Powell and I passed by well kept yards and gardens in the bright bloom of summer.  I felt so blessed that my neighbors and I own our own homes.  In spite of the inevitable ebb and flow of finances, home ownership has always been a wise decision.  I think the Summer Solstice is as good a time as any to evaluate our lives with home ownership in mind.  Would you like to finally become a homeowner or make a move of some kind?  Maybe you want something smaller or something with more space? Maybe you want something newer or long to have a stately old home in the center of town? Maybe you want to move out into the country or back into town from the country? Are you happy where you are?  If so, then that's wonderful.  If not, it's time to start on the path of change - to make something happen.  Call me today and let's explore the possibilities... I'd love to help you make a move... or just visit about the solstice and this lovely time of year!  Gloria Hedderman, Broker/Owner  307-272-1232
